ALMEDA TRIO BROADCASTS LIVE FROM THE KEYBANK STUDIO

It was live radio over WCLV at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 23rd. The Almeda Trio, in residence at The Music Settlement, was on the air from the KeyBank Studio at The Idea Center on Playhouse Square. The Trio members -, pianist Robert Cassidy, cellist Ida Mercer and violinist Cara Tweed -  played selections by Dave Brubeck, Paul Ferguson, Bedrich Smetana and Astor Piazzolia. In between the music, WCLV's Bill O'Connell talked with the Trio members about The Music Settlement and its 100th Anniversary celebrations.  The program will be repeated in the Symphony at Seven time period on May 10th.

Here are some scenes from the broadcast.
