JOHN SIMNA, MUSIC DIRECTOR AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

WCLV's Music Director and Operations Manager is the man who determines what selections will be listed in the WCLV Guide. At the same time, he is a regular commercial voice on the station and the host of The Cleveland Orchestra Showcase, Fridays at 9:00 PM; KeyBank's nightly Symphony at Seven; and the seven-times-a-week Late Program.  And his acclaimed Jazz All Night is heard on WCPN 90.3 from Midnight to 6:00 AM each Sunday. 

John is an accomplished musician on the bass trombone and euphonium, and he has played with the German Concert Orchestra, the Broadale Brass Ensemble, the Cleveland Philharmonic, and many of the area's tuba concerts.

John is a graduate in accounting from Notre Dame and joined the WCLV staff in March of 1973. He and his wife, Vikki, also a musician, have two children, Laura and Carl.
