ENCORE LIVE BROADCASTS

ACADEMY

As as been the tradition over the years, WCLV
presented two live broadcasts from the Encore
School for Strings in Hudson on Thursday,
July 19th and Sunday, July 22nd, 2007. Both
concerts, given in the historic chapel at Western
Reserve Academy, were student-faculty recitals.
Here are some snapshots from the July 22nd
broadcast. (l to r) Alex Kosiorek, Audio Supervisor for
the Cleveland Institute of Music; WCLV's Robert
Conrad; and Bruce Uchimura, cellist and Encore
faculty member, who was the intermission guest.

The Encore Live broadcasts are the leading edge of the CIM Live
series sponsored by Audio Technica, US. The 2007-2008 CIM Live
broadcasts begin on Wednesday, Septmber 17th with a concert by
the CIM Orchestra conducted by Carl Topilow from Severance Hall.
