INTERNSHIPS FOR STUDENTS ARE AVAILABLE AT WCLV.
WCLV has internships available for students at educational institutions. Internships must be in co-operation with an institution and for credit. They are for a minimum of 20 hours per week, generally for three months or longer, depending upon the requirements of the institution. Interns need to furnish their own transporation as public transportation is very poor in the area of the station.

Cleveland Classical Radio, LLC. has a local management agreement with Radio Seaway, Inc., licensee of WCLV (FM). The employees of Cleveland Classical Radio are involved in the operation of WCLV; therefore, we are maintaining the EEO reports for the prior reporting periods.
WCLV (Radio Seaway, Inc.) has fewer than five employees and is exempt from EEO reporting rules.

EEO Outreach Activities
WCLV’s internship program is designed to assist members of the community to acquire skills needed for broadcast employment. The station has an on-going Internship program and posts Internship opportunities at various colleges including The University of Akron, Ohio School of Broadcasting, Ohio University and Denison University and with a national internship bank administered through RA Publishing of Denver, Colorado.
WCLV was a part of the Spring 2010 University of Akron Career Fair. The station also participates with the Ohio Association of Broadcasters job bank.
WCLV has established the WCLV Internship Scholarship fund at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. This scholarship program is designed to assist students interested in pursuing a career in broadcasting.
During this annual reporting period, WCLV provided internships for three minority students whose focus of study is communications. All interns received academic credit for their internship experience.
