On July 31, 2008, long-time WCLV air personality Albert Petrak returned to his old haunts on First Program to talk to the current chief cook and bottle washer Jacqueline Gerber. Their discussion revolved around the recent release of a CD of piano roll recordings by Richard Rodgers. The CD is a production of Bill Rudman’s The Musical Theater Project, producer of WCLV’s Footlight Parade. Albert was involved not only in telling Bill about the little-known recordings but also in consulting on the digital transfer of the sound from the roll to the CD master.
